I'd been planning on doing this course, but I was going to switch my insurance cover to Kiwibike first for the rebate, and to make sure I was covered on a training day, but I'd completely forgotten about it since the earthquake.. It's probably too late now, but I'll look into it, so I may see you there.

i've done a couple of prorider courses and recommend them highly....good instructors (Karel and the likes of Dennis Charlett) - does cost a fair bit but this isn't just a "have a go day at the track"...I would do this course as well but circumstances don't allow it unfortunately

Broomrider and I did this course earlier this year and were planning on doing this one too but like Leopardskin circumstances have changed and we won't be making it. Will try to get on another later in the year. We too, highly recommend them! Everybody will learn something from one of these days, and it's all low-stress and fun. Great day!

As it is supposed to be a nice evening I'm thinking of heading over to Akaroa a bit earlier than usual. Will wait outside Halswell vet if anyone want's to join from 6-6:15 then heading off. Maybe stop at little river or taitap pub on the way back.

As it is supposed to be a nice evening I'm thinking of heading over to Akaroa a bit earlier than usual. Will wait outside Halswell vet if anyone want's to join from 6-6:15 then heading off. Maybe stop at little river or taitap pub on the way back.

Great Idea. I have to meet one of my old riding buddies(and best man) at 1830 so won't be going over the hill, but I would love to pop into the taitap pub at say 2000 to 2030 for a beer and some dinner.

His name is Spanky so be nice to him or else. I might even try 3 up on the side car which will be slow.
