    I wasn't aware of the threat of the second explosion. An "uninhabitable Europe" would be unthinkable.

    thanks Toto that was worth a look. Interestingly it wasn't only the Soviets that lied. When you consider how dependent the French are on Nuclear power their reaction is worrying. Thanks to some very brave Soviets, Russians, Ukrainians etc, we still have a Europe.

    Whenever the greenie bastards object to a power generation scheme, they should be shown a picture of Chernobyl's open reactor and offered that as the alternative, for that's the way they are driving the future.

    Pretty sure I have read somewhere this week that they were trying to see if they could run the cooling system with the excess latent heat in case of losing power.
