    Selling my hairdryer on steroids...

Yes, although my initial reason for buying my lil Ninja was to see if I liked sporties and I needed a lighter bike because I never thought I'd ride my 800cc Cruiser again...(well, shoulder is better now and I can ride BOTH) anyway...well I discovered ...I LOVE THEM...but I like to ride big...so I am going to go BIG..ger!

Any suggestions advise, I hear Suzuki's are good but I dunno, I've always ridden Kawi's ...that's Kawi's folks not Kiwi's...

I'm think of upgrading to another Ninja...possibly a 650 anything bigger may be too much for me...shit I sound like a virgin.

As the summer loses its hold on NZ and starts to make its way TO ME! I hope to be on a bike that doesn't sound like a freaken hairdryer on steriods...

So lets hear it all you fantastic advice givers...

    Which bike and why?

First things first, get yourself to a bike shop and take an SV650 for a hoon. You might love them (sporting twins), you might hate them, but figure out if you're a twin type of girl sooner rather than later. Then, get yourself on a GSXR600 type bike for comparison.

After you pick an engine configuration, the rest is easy... they basically all kick arse now, so just pick the one you think is comfy and looks good. I'd take a ZX6RB1 for a thrash for sure.

Dont forget the Suzuki GSX650F. Seems to be a nice comfortable bike.

But, Take a look around the shops for the best priced cc range you are after. Dont let anyone try to convince you on something you dont like!

If you are at all like me, when you make the above suggested comparison, the SV will feel like a sack full of angle iron after the GSXR...

If it was me, I'd still be keeping the rego costs in mind, and staying under the 600cc bracket... Which in my case means I'll probably go for a CBR600RR next! (599cc actual capacity!!!)

That might not be an issue in Ontario.

Go for broke, test ride a ZX14. Why?, well why not?.

The SV is a V twin
The GSXR is an inline four...

If you're going to stay true to Kawasaki you should look at the 650 Ninja / Versys 650 parallel twin. Very capable without the full-on intensity of a 600 four cylinder

    http://www.kawasaki.ca/model/Street-...254/Ninja-650R -$7999 - shit thats cheap
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

    Thanks guys!

The problem here in Canada is that the more letters and numbers attached to a motorcycle there are, the higher the insurance rate.

Definitely gonna try all the bikes before I buy, good excuse to ride different bikes, eh?
