6x6 Artic Haulers are cool. I used to drive a Volvo A20 & A25 for the old man.
When you've got all 4 diff locks in & 6x 65" tyres all spinning & you're still not moving, you know you're stuck good

One with a camper body & a couple of bikes on the back would be cool, 50km/h everywhere might get old quick though...

    Cheers

yea its just not worth the risk to get caught. One trip got pulled up in taupo on a run north,, mod squad, he went through my book page by page....trying to get me on sum slip up...........sorry pal..
the books are different now days 2 columns instead of three.....you have to write start place and time + hubo , every stop, place and time + hubo even if its for a flat tire.. and finish place time + hubo...
its up to a instant $500 fine for not showing a log book,or entering false details.

on the old book was one 30min stop after 5.5hrs drive per 11hrs driving.

now you can have two 30min stops per 5.5hrs driving and you end up with 2 hrs left after last break..= 13hrs drive / load /work time.
but im sure you knew that aye mate

takes far to long to sit you class 4/5 heavy think its up to 2yrs+

i sat my 4/5 in a artic in one afternoon,,, few years ago now..

Its $500 for not producing your logbook, and the real killer is you get demerits points as well, 35, I think.

Strange truck in area, like yours would attract attention, and I know what you're saying about Taupo.

We are much friendlier down here you can even get coffee at Ohakea.

I think the piece of rubber underneath it that touches the road would hurt more ... suggest keep away regardless of the flag type.

BTW not the truck from our site I just happened to follow it today and seeing we are on BIG machines I thought i would post it.
