I wondered if perhaps he 'wanted' to be taken out.... Death by cop and all that.

I read where the relatives are angry with the "Police"! FFS!

All he had to do was throw the firearm on the ground! ... Hello!

Hahahaha...I'm sure we all agree on one thing. If you point a gun at the police...you're running the risk of getting shot, and it's nobody's fault but your own.

The opinions of newly-grieving relatives are hardly going to be well thought-out.
I think it's irresponsible of the media to even ask them let alone print their response.
Rightly or wrongly they are going to be blaming everyone involved until they've had a bit more time to come to terms with losing their kid.

What amazes me the most is the cop actually hit him . Wonder if they were supposed to be warning shots or something???

usually they have a better chance of hitting them if they throw the gun at them

What the fuck was the little tosser criminal doing with a firearm in the first place? Did he shoot at the cops? Did he think he was bullet proof?
Certainly sounds like the kid had issues.

Should get a teacher to talk to him, and then have a chat with the cops because they probably did something that encouraged his behaviour.

I can't help but feel for the poor unfortunate officers that found themselves in this situation, they will go through a multitude of emotions and a shit load of scrutiney before this matter is done and dusted and even then there willl be some tosser who will still be plugging away in the media complaining for to come.

before you judge the police watch this for some insite into their world

I don't like being lead about by the nose, especially if I know it's going on.

I would wager that, "I don't know why the pigs shot him" became "the relatives blame the police".

One thing we know for sure is that 'journalists' and editors are nothing more than scum sucking liars.

they get a lot of respect for what they do in the vid but lose it again when they become the authoritarian traffic cops enforcing mis-guided policies. He says one really real thing in the vid they seem to forget, they are expected to be human. Add to that that the public expect them to treat us like humans and they will again get the respect they deserve.

Did you hear the uncle say that the police should have used the taser? So how would they get to within the 3 or so meters of taser range while being shot at with a shot gun? Apparently, uncle was really F'd off. Why give the drongo the time of day on air or are the media just beating it up to show what background the kid came from? Either way, he picked a fight and lost. Movin' right along.
