Sparked up last week, done about 300km now, fixed a couple of very minor issues & she is running smooth & strong.

We now have a loose plan for the trip down; camp Minginui or thereabouts Thurs night, then Friday out to SH5, Napier, then backroads down the coast to Martinborough.

not sure if i will be able to make it now after the earthquake

got power back on last night so just seeing if i can cancel the ferry and accomodation. dont think i will be too popular if i leave the family behind for a couple of days.......

We had a good time... well maybe not entirely in the morning when it was wet & slippy but after that it was great. Good work by the organisers though, I think if there aren't a few gambles taken with the weather on a ride like this they would always be a bit boring. The route sheets, catering & venue were all really good.
