You may have to wait a while

We only see him when the sun is shining, its between 23-25 degrees, dry roads, partner lets him out, he's not gardening, not blow drying his hair, not tinting his hair, not polishing and blinging his underused machine. And he calls Honda riders GAY????

I know we have at least 6 riders going Sunday - whats up with the rest of you????

My bike is well used thank you very much. I've done 6,000km on it. Meaning with the amount of 23-25 degree days and the times when my hair isn't drying, it equates to 1253km every time I take it out

I'll probably be there on Sunday. If I'm not on my way to Wellington to pick up my winnings. Make that, I WILL be there.

Murray, did I mention I've changed my bike? Now have a Yamaha 2005 xvs650 cruiser. I was having a few concerns about the reliability factor of the old GB. Also want to do some weekend trips.

First few days, I wasn't sure I had done the right thing. Acouple of weeks on, I'm enjoying it more as I get used to the weight and steering.

At least the harley riders wave, untill they go past,

It certainly didn't help with her insurance thats for real !! From what we managed to establish she was travelling to close to the centre line when a lite truck coming up the hill cut the corner BANG, 1 bike behind her rode over her the 2nd bike missed her & ended up in the ditch with TEC in a ditch on the other side of the road..... I'm sure Smokey was going to her boyfriend

Was a good run, A good number of bikes. Nobody came to grief. The rain stayed away. and I kept my place in line with the new cruiser. Even got to scrape the footboards.
I followed a couple of the smaller bikes, with L plates attached, back from Ngongotaha and was good to see them pacing themselves and not passing untill they had the distance to do so safely.

I'd be pretty disapointed if this group of riders chucked in the towel because of a few clouds and a drop in temperture. Cant see that happening,
I wont be around for the next two Sundays because of work. My next Sunday off, will be Easter. If no organised group ride that weekend, I will work out a ride and anyone who wants to come along would be welcome.

I understand about the fuel money thingy. A 250k ride will cost me about $30, a couple of pies/drink.( on its own, not a lot for a days riding), Add the fuel for going to work, my own riding during the week, The car fuel and it starts to add up.
Two cars to rego this month, the bike next month, that $32 million, this weekend, just may come in handy.

Was a very good ride with mostly good roads, mostly dry weather. Not enough rain to even get wet. Good to see some new faces and some returning one's. With a few riders catching us, as the last of us left Hamilton (we got split a little at the first set of lights leaving the Hotel) we ended up with 18 bikes of all sizes and types and riders of all ages and sex.

Those that came straight back managed to get to the clubrooms to see the warriors come from behind in the second half to have their first win of the season and meet with another guy that wants to ride with us. A great fun day and good group to ride with.

Jim has suggested the Ulysses Easter ride is available next Sunday for anyone interested. Note where they are leaving from and what time. Always a good charity to support. POST NUMBER 3450

I will be away next weekend so if anyone wants to organise a ride, other than the Easter run, "go for it"

Remember riding is always best sunny side up!!!
