And now you know where the saying "I love the smell of napalm in the morning", comes from. The horror, the horror.
    I love that movie.

Where Joan Jett started out in the music "industry".
The story meandered along... An "OK" movie.
    6/10 for me.

Good stuff. I want my apocalypse now!

If you you want to see another classic movie of that era, watch Taxi Driver if you haven't already. Both of these got 8.6/10 on imdb. Both are absolute classics.

    The Last Drop (2006)

Weak story telling, inconsistent, unattractive and cheesy. There were some "alright" moments however.

Low budget, low performance war film. I wouldn't recommend it.

    3.0/10

    Enemy of the state (1998)

Brilliant, clever and an absolte thrill joyride of a film. Will Smith is just amazing, and is best at what he does (very authentic). Did not disappoint me, not even one bit.

8.0 but will give the extra 0.5 for Smith's legitimate performance.

    8.5/10

On a personal note: The old Asian lady was just LOL.

Yeah that'd be fun! Lets do it!

RE: Yeah, I write it straight after finishing a film. Esp for 2011 I decided to write a review for every each film I watch. I encourage myself to write it just after finishing each film, so that I can write it while the emotion is still there.

One of my goals for 2011 is to watch over 200 films and write each a review of my own.

    Jurassic Park (1993)

Steven Spielberg, Michael Crichton, John Williams, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and the Amblin Entertainment Team. Spared no expense. The music is fantastic throughout the entire film, also pretty good for 1993's dino graphics. A very good adventure film (my childhood's favourite).

Not your ordinary walk in the park.

    8.5/10

    It smells like.......... victory.

Same. The better version IMO is the "Redux" it makes a lot more sense, rather than being butchered for cinematic release.

One of my favourite film experiences was when they released APOCALYPSE NOW: REDUX and showed it at the film festival (5 or so years ago?). I bunked work for an afternoon and watched it on the biiiig screen with not many people in the audience (mainly nerd-boys like me). FAN TASTIC...

Try and see his original EL MARIACHI if you can find it (NOT the remake with Banderas). Its really gritty and raw, sort of Sergio Leone in places, TOTALLY recommend it.

I much preferred his PLANET TERROR to Quentins DEATH PROOF in the grindhouse double feature they did.

One of my favourites of his (its got GEORGE FRICKIN CLOONEY) is FROM DUSK TIL DAWN

Saw THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU on at the flicks.

It was great actually going to the movies again: kind of normal. First time since the EQ.

The film itself is worthwhile. Not particularly challenging or groundbreaking story wise, but it cracks along at a decent pace, and it is beautifully shot. And you'll fall in love with NYC all over again... Matt Damon is pretty watchable in anything I find, and Emily Blunt is a bit tall and skinny for my taste, but is a good match in the film, has obviously been a dancer (she plays a dancer...). The supporting cast is excellent, particularly Terence Stamp and Anthony Mackie.

Gotta get me one of them hats.

You won't (at the end) lean over the counter screaming at the drone "Gimme those two hours back you bastard, and my $20!!!)

7.5/10 (I am an ungenerous reviewer)
