got some oil for my dirtbike you can use, not going to use any on my uni pods for the bros for a while, as another guy got a backfire through the carbs and the whole lot went up in flames. Oil is only really required in high dust situations anyway i think. Slides are operating well now, they could cause it to be a bit slow to build and drop revs? The diaphram air lines nice and clean?

Slides are uber slick and happy I have gone over the whole carbs again with cleaner and a zillion pounds of compressed air.
Do you remember the funny rubber seals (Ooooh a homonym!) on the front of the carbs that were all a bit odd and joined with glue? I am going to glue them up tomorrow and try seal the air box better (duct tape FTMFW)

Has anyone got a vacuum gauge I can tootle around and borrow? The ZZR is nearly better, seems it just needs a balance and the cam chain tensioner re-set

don't have a set of balancing ones, but may have a single vac gauge lying around, if that would be good enough I can have a scavenge round the shed.

That would do the trick! I'm going to rip the exhaust off and clean the cans out tomorrow

A heap of effort has come to fruition! Approximately 8kg lost, with another 2 going when I get LiFePO4 ceels to replace the battery.

Heres a pic, which doesn't do the exhaust wrap justice, it looks way better IRL.

And here's a vid, idle only, but you get the idea

Rideable as is, but a bit of surging and I think richness in some parts, will tune the fuck out of it once I get my hands on a wideband O2 sensor.

    Fap fap fap fap

Will be awesome once in tune, those factory cans (even the headers) are quite restricting. Sounds tasty even through the speakers of the MacBook Pro thingy I am using.

I've decided to drink copious amounts of beer today instead of fucking with the Kawasaki, got to check the clearances and cam chain pitch, check the exhaust for leaks....argh.

I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

My Honda couldn't catch a cold.....

Speaking of Hondas, I wouldn't mind getting myself another Spada to get to uni on, the CBitchin' is using just over 6L per 100km, so I might invest/swap for another 250 and use the Kawa-doesn't-work for the longer rides.
    Logical/sensible plan?

I had a GN for 10,00km and it was HORRID!

I think I shall trade the Honduh. I don't find it comfy anyway.
