Damn! What an excuse! And an extra hour of morning light available too! Needs must I find some coin for a tank of gas (after having emptied one yesterday fanging over to Raglan and back and various other locations...but I HAD to do that to "scrub in" the new tyres...
BOTH excellent pieces of road.

My rear tyre is starting to 'chip and crack' on the leading edges of the treads?? - What type of tyre did you stick on your bike? Anybody have any recommendations?
P.S. Anybody know if I can change my 'username' but keep my profile? im sick of my highschool nickname.
I put Bridgestone BT016's on. Same as before. I haven't had 'em drop me yet.
Incidentally, I looked all over for prices of these tyres. Whilst I could have got the tyres cheaper and then paid to have them fitted, by going direct to Boyds and having them supply and fit, the deal I got was as good as any and better than some.

I especially like the lady looking at you guys thinking "WTF, bloody bikers. Just wants to take photo's of his ladies ass".
Tyres, as always, depend on what riding you do and how much money you want to spend. On my old Daytona I had the standard Pirellis, which I chewed through within 6,000k of nana riding. I then went to Michelin Powers 2CT and loved them.
I swapped out the stock pirellis on the new Daytona for Michy Pures (they wanted me to try them). 6,000k later and I think they maybe half worn. They have some predictable slip on the track. I would maybe go back to the 2CT's once I go through this set. Dunno why really. I think it's the slip that I get from them (although this doesn't happen on the road how I ride). I suppose it'll come down to price in the end. If the pures are the same, I'd more than likely go with them again.
Some people HATE michies. I'm not impressed with Pirelli's. Bridgestone are meant to do an impressive supersport tyre.
Re PS: Don't lie, you love it you studdly studmuffin you. I hope it was the chicks that nicknamed you that and not you guys mates![]()
