You should see the thing, makes such a HUGE difference to comfort levels, but does nothing for typing ability

    Ooops!

Had a laugh out loud moment on the way to work this morning. My commute starts in a 50 area, that becomes a 60 area, that becomes an 80 area and then to 100.

I was pootling along in the 60 zone and thought I was going a bit fast and looked down at the clock, nope was fine

So I opened the throttle a bit more and headed out to the 80 area. OK, so now I really think I am going a bit quick and glance down just over 90 on the clock (digital btw), that was confusing. Then it friggen dawned on me. We had adjusted the clock for daylight savings before I left and had obviously put the speedo/trip metre into MPH!

I had launched myself out of town in a hell of a hurry Thank goodness there was no plod around, not sure he would have believed that story somehow

Am enjoying my commute. Had the blustery/squally weather on the way home tonight, at times so bad I simply had to laugh at myself. I have a perfectly great, all the bells and whistles car, and I choose this method of transport

I am sitting here, the weather outside is horrible. Cold, blowing a gale and driving rain. I am planning extra layers, my thermal linings back in my pants and some more cat crap on my visor. There must be something wrong with me

There shouldn't be much if any rain tomorrow but it may be rather chilly, http://www.metvuw.com/forecast/forec...zni&noofdays=7 thankfully I went shopping at the Icebreaker outlet shop last time I was out near the airport - merino that doesn't itch!

The oxford chillout gear works really well for stopping the wind coming though.

Yeah, it was a bit cool coming home tonight, I was warm as toast at work and elected not to put on my tights, neck warmer, blah, blah.

I am a big fan of merino, I wear it summer and winter. And yes, the warm stuff will be fully engaged tomorrow for sure.

I have this dumb brace thing on my finger now. I am using my HUGE winter glubbs that I usually wear over my gloves. Problem is they are not warm I am about to go hunt out the winter woolie gloves to see it they fit over the brace. Failing that, I am going braceless
