I've always ordered my Mitas tyres direct from LMS, no probs.

If you just need something to fill the gap for the weekend see if you can get something taken off by the enduro boys, I've seen plenty of tyres in the junk stack at the local shop & in mate's garages that would do fine for a weekend.

    Cheers

Usual rule-of-thumb here is you only find out about them after getting new tyres for a ride.

I have switched over to the E07, after reading that guys thread where his insurance company did not cover him because one of his tires was not WOF standards made me think twice about using the other one.

Any idea how much set of E07's for my DR would sting me through LMS?
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....

Or swaps, 5150 has a pile of half - 3/4 used front and rear TKC-80s in R1100GS sizes sitting in his garage, half a dozen tyres or so.

4 actually. (2 sets of front and rear)

Forgot I even had those... Duuh

Unfortunately now that the GS is gone, they are sitting there unused. If anyone wants them, lets talk.

130/80x17 is too small for the 1100/1150GS. They take 150/70x17. Oh and the tyre thread is the sticky at the top of the forum

just been to the garage and rechecked the rear ones.

Yes, one is a 150 and one is 130

The 150 is the one with more tread on it. The 130 I got given and never fitted to the bike, but been told it came of a 1100GS
