Hang on to it. It'll be valuable someday.

A classic scrambler sounds all cool& stuff but if you're really riding it as one then parts will break like nobody's business & cost a lot to keep going.Thats why I made sure my latest bike was common as flypoo.

We could use it as a trophy for the NADS Dork of the year awards dinner.

South Island Trials Champs round 3 & 4 on Sunday in Riwaka.

They're bound to have an ADV bike section...

While you guys were busy doing whatever it is you do on a sunday morning.....

    I went up Altimarloch

I see somebody has filled in the big washout on the Maungatapu, but they very kindly didn't do anything else so it's still a good/rough ride, and the wire rope has been "modified" again I hope they don't replace it with a solid gate

Going for a ride this afternoon.
Either over to Pelorus and back or Wairoa Gorge.

Good ice cream at Pelorus but the little bike hasn't been out the Wairoa yet...

Jeez you realise if you guys didn't ride your bikes so much they wouldn't need as many replacement parts.

I disagree, I never ride mine and it needs lots of parts...

Just about saved enough to get it tuned though...

I'm after the one tuned to 'running well and easy to start', the other two you can keep...

    Today's Maungatapuing...

The new bridge on t'other side...

Just a paddock, some hills and some clouds...

    The paddock was boring...

    Streaming right along...

Shall we have a go then?

The river was deepish but the climb looked doable.

    Oh all right then...

The surface has been compacted slightly.
Virtually no wheel spin at all...

    Rabbit Island from the summit(ish)...
