    AWESOME!
The same way we think your an awesome rider really.......

    People speak, we listen.
Unless you have a psychic ability for these kinds of things I can't see a better way to guess his level of riding without seeing him.

Reread please. That was when he changed to second.
From past experience that is not too far off. I was guessing first ends at about 125-130.

"Hit the red-line and found second, was already doing 120" or something to that effect... End of first is around 145.

Pfft! My old 750 will do 140+ in first at redline. A newer R1 is in another league.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

How long have you been riding MX bikes man?
I been riding dirt bikes since november 2010 lol. Borrowing some leathers tomorrow to go for a ride with my mate on his mrs kawasaki ninja. think its a 250 I dont really know. But the throttle wont be getting twisted like i did the first time on a road bike. Got to respect road bikes, their power and the road. Its a total different cup of tea but I think I will enjoy it.

    Nice.

To the thread starter, I'll ride with ya man! Anyone who scares the shit of themselves and decides that's their cup of tea is a GC in my books.
    I am with ya Drew.

just got back from Taupo had a good ride but damn my face got cold with my mx helmet. Its amazing how easy it is just to pull out and pass cars. Nearly had an off going down the summit hit some loose gravel but managed to correct it. An hour 10 there and a an Hour 5 on the way back from the Bay view petrol station was pretty good for my first decent ride.
    total kilometres ridden: 279kms

An hour 10 and an hour 5? On a 250? Now we know you're gilding the lily.
