Bike not going, so I'll flag tomorrow.

I took one last weekend. Was ok. I'll bring it with me but someone needs to bring a bicycle helmet to ride up the track with. Carter's rules.

I have a spare bike you can borrow for Sunday.

All loaded, feeding myself fuel, bike's had it's rummage, lets go...
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

Great racing today folks!! Even the weather held out for most of the day!
Just been watching some good on-board video from B Grade, including some interesting footage of carnage and red flags.....

Tell them to take a slight right, a left, hard right, right, left, left, hard right, hard left, right and then another right. Nothing much to debate about really is there?

Well the turnout wasn't the greatest today but I still had a blast racing around Kaitoke! It was a shame to see a number of crashes again but hey that's racing I guess (I'm just glad I wasn't one of the unlucky ones!).

Thanks to the kart club and a couple of the kart club members for helping out with the weekend. Cheers Skunk for putting in heaps of effort and sacrificing your own riding time for us. Thanks also to any others who helped out, it is much appreciated!!

I wasn't riding quite as fast today but conditions weren't the greatest until the end of the day and my left wrist still hasn't healed up fully. It's quite swollen now and I'm in a bit of pain but it felt good to start getting back on the pace again.

I look forward to the Kaitoke Easter event every year, for me it's the most enjoyable event because of the amount of track time and how relaxed it is. I can't wait for the next one! Cheers!

Yep it has, was at my flag point too, but I missed it. Saw the first bike go down and reached for the flag to warn the others, turned around and there was carnage. This guy was using your bike as a mattress because he was lying on top of it when we got to him. Your blue paint all over his front rim as well.
Maccas Masterton for breaky on way home this morning about 7.00am, left Upper Hutt at 6.

No, torn AC ligaments, couple of weeks off work, physio and good as new.

Thanks to all you guys for the help with loading up.

Nice, clean racing too. Very nice track.

Yeh, good times. Only the one day for me but that was enough. Great battles with Fishie. Got some good lap times in. Had a couple of crashes. Toasted a tire. And generally had a great day. Was great watching the other racing as well. Some really hard core battles everywhere. Thanks Skunk and Brent and everyone else that made the day so great. Till next time.

A BIG thank you to all those that turned up over the two days. Sorry about the weather - if only if rained more or less we would have been right. Great racing on the dry track for most of the time.

My biggest thanks goes to those that helped me run the event - everyone who flagged while they weren't racing as well as Kendog, Trudes, Bert, Mudflaps, Str8 Jacket, Fishie, F5 Dave, Clivoris, Henk, Dutchee, Coffee Junkie and everyone else I've missed - there were so many. You all made the event work. A thank you to the Phil and Vicki from KartSport Wellington for putting on the Cafe and setting up the track with flags and extinguishers etc. Also thanks to our Steward; those that were listening to the riders briefing on Sunday will know what I'm on about.

I'll try and dream up some results as we didn't take any - this was all about the FUN.

We'll do it all again later in the year with the North Island round.

Again - thanks to you all.
