    Cyclone Bola 7/3/88
    Full Moon 3/3/88
    Perigee 8/3/88

Perigee then was very close at approx 357,000km from earth, like the last 3 we just had....

Does that mean there is no element of truth or accuracy in his theories?

Perhaps some of what he says is pertinent and could/should be explored and incorporated into existing theories - which incidentally despite being "science" and attracting a lot more money seem to me to be no better than his.
I'm not so sure who's perpetrating the bigger hoax here, moon man or geologists.

Probably the same type of people who take notice of Bill Hohepa's Maori fishing calendar.
A similar approach to compiling the "best days" for getting a catch. Or perhaps he is considered a "wacko" as well?

Anyone can predict anything they like ... validity only becomes a fact when someone decides to listen to it!

All of the power and responsibility therefore rests in the mind of the believer or the non believer!

Ken Ring is innocent of any provocation, his believers or non believers are completely in control of that!

Chicken little said the sky is falling ... believe it or not ... it's the listener's choice!

The current weather system has been described as "worse than Bola".

Perigee - April 17. Not close enough to today to think that the current weather is caused by the perigee. Oh, hang on, what about the full moon thing?
Full moon AND perigee was March 19 - prompting the earthquake warning BUT there wasn't a cyclone.

Cyclones being caused by the perigee and Full Moon coinciding seems a little tenuous at best. Now, I'm not saying there is no link, but I can't see there being a cyclone every two weeks at perigee or every time perigee and the full moon coincide.

Is the current weather able to attributed to any lunar property?

Just like all those people who got told their bridgecorp investments would give them 15%.
Or that AAA ratings means they are 100% secure.

Perhaps the burst of solar activity (17 solar flares, 2 m-class) on the 22nd of April has something to do with it too.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

you are familiar with the logical proposition "Because A follows B, it does not follow that A caused B"? yes?

demonstrate the connection between your propositions, which is (as I understand it): the moon was close to the earth, thus causing cyclone ebola.

Thought the pattern or quakes/shocks followed the path of the international space station?
Apparently is the largest mass so close to earth!! The plans were for a station twice the size but the gravitational effects on our molten core would be to great for the earth's crust causing new fault lines.... I would suggest NASA have over stepped the mark with what they have up there by some considerable margin and are trying to keep it under raps....the reflector panels are probably the real reason for global warming to....and higher birthrates of left handed people...civil defence are going to buy enough anti gravity pumps to keep high tides out of low lying land, good ol' civic defence they are onto it!........ 'Science' has explored it and found where there is a tiny effect, it is not pertinent because the effect is so small.

Geologists are not perpetrating a hoax. They admit they cannot reliably predict earthquakes. The 'Moon Man' is not perpetrating a hoax either. He genuinely believes what he says. Unfortunately he wildly overestimates the power of his friend, the moon.

I saw his weather almanac in the Warehouse today. Given the shitty weather the North Island has had this week I though I'd see if Mr Ring had forecast it correctly.

Umm. No. Not what you'd call 'settled' weather.

He's spot on up here! The cloud has settled in and has been in residence for a few days.

Is ken Ring predicting what he believes in any worse than an actual scientist not releasing information they know to be true.?

I am sure there are a lot of scientists that are funded by corporations or governments sitting on all sorts of information that they will never tell us.

Is that science? No its bullshit and its a lot worse than what Mr. Ring does.
