Haven't read any of his books but they must be farkin' amazing, thousands of Scientologists are having trouble telling fact from fiction....

Ahhh, thought the authors name sounded familiar. That was a big ass story to try and fit in 2 hours worth of movie though, no wonder they didn't get it quite right.

And on the scientology thing, has it got crazier and more money-grabbing since hubbard left the scene? as I would have expected such a successful writer to have decent grounding in morality/sanity.

Hall Pass was so bad that I walked after 45 minutes. I should have walked out after 10 minutes but I struggle with the whole walking out of movies thing.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

I know it's not recent, but surely Titanic was the worst film ever made. The more oscars a film wins, usually means, for me, the worse it is. I couldn't wait for the thing to sink and put us out of our misery, and even then we had to wait for ages for the bloke to finally do us a favour and drown. Can't think of a single redeeming feature of it, other than the closing credits. I cried during the film all right...it was torture !

Just (sadly) remembered: Last Airbender. (cough avatar cough).

For people who watched the series, and thought it was very very good, the movie was just awfull.

M Night Sharmalarmadingdong isn't doing the next one. Which is way less surprising than that they are making a next one.

    HOW DARE YOU!

Guess it's more of a fan based thing, like Star Trek/Star Wars etc.

My son's generation, unfamiliar with the BBC productions thought it was good.

in the edit I was unfortunate enough to see, the final scrabble bag scene was completely omitted. A multi million dollar travesty.

That newest Harry Potter movie on sale at the Warehouse for $26 has to be the worst film I have seen in a very long time.
