Shit! 160 deaths so far - overnight this area that we have been talking about has been hit by numerous mile wide tornados.

There's been a huge out break of Tornados here in the U.S. ! Big swath of them as far south as Texas all the way to the east coast, and as far north to NY! That was just ONE big weather system...storm after storm after storm. It just starts all over again everyday ! It starts down south here in Texas and heads northeast. This year is gonna be crazy...hell...it already IS ! How are things in your neck of the woods?

once upon a time, africa and south america used to be joined together (actually nmost of the world was). if you don't beleive me, get a map of the world, cut africa out and cut south america out, and see how close they join together. you don't think they just floated apart without an earthquake or two do you? japan has moved clsoer to mainland china - on it's continual path to crash into it. and look at the himilayas - india caused a few wrinkles when it fucked tibet in the arse about 20 million years ago.

This whole situation is just grating on my intellect.... so much is happening in one place- yet the news services are still pushing royal wedding, KFC burger and Bin Laden stories at us.
Look where it started, January onwards US government buying massive stores of freeze dried food and shipping it to this location, contracting 3500 armed security guards to be sent to same location. Plus numerous purchases of catastrophy related services and supplies. birds and fish dying in huge numbers in march here, fracking associated with earthquake swarms -same location.
Tornadoes like never seen before - over 300 killed. Flooding like never seen before.

"In one place after another." Right on schedule... Not sure if the natural disasters will quiet down after a while but it does seem the Earth's crust and particularly the Pacific Plate is going through a phase so we could see a lot more, and even more severe, Earthquakes and volcanoes yet. Another quake in Spain overnight.

What I found interesting about Christchurch is that the Earthquakes are localised, not along the whole fault, but in and around the area. Maybe a Siesmologist can shed some light on that?
