I would have said you were nuts but having seen you chopping down trees with my chainsaw on the top of the ridge in a lightning storm on Sunday, nothing surprises me now.

Shit, those Michelins on the RF are pretty shagged now though. You could do with a suspension update before brakes I reckon.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Nope. Those Michelins were actually pre-fucked before he even fitted them to the bike mate. Luke wore the buggers out last season.

It's the motor not living through the experience that I don't want to think about.

There would be, but only if I take out the lights and shit. Just wouldn't be the same.

You forget the four rounds I did on the thou without biffing it?

Uk/Australian market ones are full horse models I'm told. 300k speedo, and an on/off switch for the lights is the give away.

Post '95 they also get cartridge forks.
Ours has a mph speedo. 190MPH no less, with 300KPH inside. THAT'S fast. No switchable lights.

More than likely Canadian or US spec. They have less lift on the cams, and ignition is retarded a little

That would suit Drew as he's a bit that way himself

I've ridden both. There's fuck all difference on the cams. You can adjust the timing without violating the rules too.

BIG difference in top end power. About 10 rwhp.
Drew's RF is E24 (Aussie) spec... full power model. They cost about 19k when they were first released in NZ. Then came a lot of Canadian and US ones. The very last ones SNZ sold in NZ were E02 (Pommy)spec. Also full power. Easily identified by the on/off switch for the headlight.

Edit: 1.5mm of cam lift is quite a lot... that's the difference between US and Aussie ones

Good memory bro, I think you might be right.

But then, I'll shout all day from the rooftops, the RF is a better bike HANDS DOWN than a '99 RSV1000 anyway.
