    good idea I think, as the process can be quite slow (Im still waiting for the NZTA thing to come back) so if u wanted to be riding that sounds like a better decision.

    i kind of need some mobility for work related stuff and had to sell my car due to high running costs and all. i'm happy to be on 2 wheels though

    well i just revinned my GB400 this week.

    Didnt have to get a brake declaration from a bike shop because the bike was reg new in NZ prior to 1989.

    All i had to do is take the vehicle of interest form provided by vtnz to the police station, they signed it to say it was not stolen.

    Took the form with the bike, paid the $180, and presto.

    New vin plate under seat, new wof label, just have to hand over $300 for its first new reg and new plates.

    ive had none of the problems you have had.
