    XT400 piston kit, help needed

Hey does anyone out there know of any aftermarket piston kits for these machines? Can the 550 piston be used perhaps? Have looked into the 550 option, but Yamaha lists a different part number for the conrod, any help greatly appreciated!

    No they are different

    XT400 Bore x Stroke 87 х 67.2 mm

You should fine that the 92 XT400 "Artesia is the same size

    & 550 Bore x Stroke 92 x 84mm

cheers for your info people... looks like Yamaha bits are the only option, the price of them has always been the killer for this bike, hence why everything else got done up instead
