21km run in one-piece leathers!

I'm running the Taupo half marathon in one piece motorcycle leathers to rasie money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of NZ and to raise the profile of "Nearly There".

I always knew you were completely mental.

Make sure you burn those leathers when you finish. They'll have so much salt in them the flames should be a pretty blue colour.

The chafing!
Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

I've walked a couple of halves and that was bad enough...

Bit of vasaline will do the trick, hopefully. It has the potentail to make things worse tho, vasaline and salt combined into a flesh grinding paste! Got to use heaps

Pig fat! At least you won't be jostled too much by other runners. Dogs perhaps may like you though?
