    Oh dude that sucks

They say everyone will bin . It is not a case of will I but more of a case of when will I . Glad that you are ok & that you have come away with only minor injuries . I do hope that this jerk off gets done in court & you end up with a new sexy machine (Hornet)
Heal up & come join us for dinner 1 night

Now now, we all don't have to think like that - making sure we are doing everything in our power to ensure we don't bin! There are plenty of old riders out there who have nary had a mishap due to their ability to judge conditions and road users well! We all need to be like them!

Plan ahead, think of the best, ensure preparation is there in case of worst case scenario!

Take my old man for example, loves his powerful bikes, hasn't had an off in over 30 years.

Yeah fair nuff , i aint going to argue with someone that has more miles under his belt than i have had hot dinners , it was something that was told to me a long time ago by a good friend & it is something that i have said to my parents as I cant promise them that i wont come off .
BUT I will do my best to avoid doing it at every cost ,due to the fact that it hurts

I don't want to crash because it would hurt my bike.

    I love my bike

hell yeah, that is the worst part! hated seeing my bike mutilated when I got taken out. I didn't give a shit about myself, just my baby!

I'm doing okay - codeine is my friend! As is arnica and AntiFlamme.

And yeah, like you said Trace - I was more unhappy for my poor baby than I was for my own injuries! Bikers are a funny lot, ne?

Well if you're felling better and still feel like hanging out with bikers the coming swarm, I'll chuck the seat back on. I'm sure you'd rather be in the driving seat, but it's better than not getting your bike fix for the week.

Eerily quiet here on the Hornet Swarm thread today...

I am presuming there is still a ride planned but maybe I missed a memo?

Anyhow, I hope to be there tonight but will possibly be late and have to track y'all down at an eatery somewhere. Either way I will text/call GI-Joe to advise.

This thread has been very quiet for a Monday. I must've missed the memo too.

I won't even get home until 6:30 tonight but I'll be keen to come see what it's all about some other time. Even if I don't own a Hornet.

Well peoples, my girl is sick and I am staying home to look after her and keep her company! So I am out for tonight - doesn't stop the rest of you fine riders to go and do some interesting things!

The hornet thing is just an indication of how many hornets can turn up! All makes and models welcome with sensible riding heads screwed on!
