Will start gaining credit with Wife & convince her she wants to look after the tykes for 3 days.

This is a great race guys. Not to be missed.

Hmm, who can take my bike down?
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Hey has there been any move to promote or apply for the open 50GP? Kind of fell flat last year, but who knew about it?

    Transport from the North Island

If enough people from the north were keen I think it would be good idea to rent a little truck and ship some bikes down. I have just done a big moving mission form chch for me mum and I reckon you could fit about 12 bikes in the back of the little truck I hired. It also had a tail lift. Very handy. I reckon it would cost about $60 per bike complete trip. Depending on timing with my work I might be going down a week early to hang with the family, but could still put my hand up to drive. Will keep you posted. This is the best bucket event on the calendar this year. Don't miss it.

The more you bring down to get their arses kicked the better

    Sterling idea.
It's almost certainly off the cards for us this year but maybe next. (plus I should have more power then, quite an important consideration for the track)

Now Now. You don't want to scare people away with that sort of inflammatory talk. I am sure it will be all sunshine and teddy bears like last time. With group hugs and back slapping for all.

Hmm, wonder if any dorklanders would be keen. Weekend before is Kaitoke (the board game, plus there might be some actual riding involved). Leave your bikes down there, book a flight and fly down to meet the bikes down south somewhere.

Work out the logistics of getting the bikes back before the two hour up here, or see if anyone would be keen to drag them back up (leave trailers in Wellywood).

Right, now that I can see a plan in action, it's time to say we're definitely OUT. I've got some fast guys in leathers to watch and perve at. But I reckon some others should look at getting a plan together to head down.

If you Northies are planning a bucketing adventure and wanted to put the icing on the cake, the Greymouth Street Races are on Labour Weekend, the weekend after the BoB. Bring your own goat.

    Cheers

I think that they're probably lucky that I am not coming....

Put me down for two bikes. I need two but always seem to end up doing the David & Goliath thing on my 50. Hey I just realised the name thing.
