And of course you will have to admit that REAL Motard riders want and use ashphalt and dirt . I have only seen one event using both surfaces in the Motard class.
Motard has a class , Superlite has a class. Why do Motard biggots always want to have 2 classes when there is only one class available for thier machines.?
I would race asphalt and dirt if there was the option.

And very amusing to watch it is too....
One very real problem not mentioned so far is the likelihood of a motard handlebar in the head of a crouched rider on a "normal" roadrace bike. At street circuits it becomes very apparent due to the resticted racing room.
As Budda has suggested, follow the yanks who run a very successful singles class based on 450 motards - suitably modified for roadracing. These would fit into our existing F3 nicely.

I also don't get how on earth that would happen?

Motard on outside line as they prefer....F3 comes up inside on brakes...motard turns in and the bar end is just the right height to collect the other rider at head or shoulder height.
Get out and spectate more....before the classes were separated I saw this happen several times at Greymouth. It's also not uncommon at BEARS meetings at Ruapuna - the dipper seems to bring out the worst in people and there's usually a conventional racer vs motard accident in there at most BEARS meetings on the full circuit.
No bro sir...old enough to be your dad (shudder)...seen a lot of racing mate.
Done a lot too...and experienced enough to know what I'm looking at.
