if you get snapped on that piece of road you could always go for the Taniwha defence.............as in you were being chased by one and feared for your life..........the law cant say Taniwha dont exist.............the govt of the day paid out to local iwi to sort out Taniwha concerns at the time of that roads construction...........so they must exist
