Either one works for me musically. But I'd rather look at Jennifer Connelly.

Orison Swett Marden
Not exactly a cover..... A mashup of Thin Lizzy "boys are back in town" and The Pixies "Monkey gone to heaven"
All kinds of awesome.
The (dis)honorable Nick Smith, when you speak all I can hear is

A favorite of mine, I prefer this version to the original.
For a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.Keep an open mind, just dont let your brains fall out.
Roy laid some of the foundations of rock music no doubt. And according to internets the song was written for him, but Lauper's version enjoyed greater commercial success.
The statement that either are pleasant to listen to indicates nothing more than that.
There is also a clip on YT with Cyndi singing over Roy's video for copyright beating. And Connelly still looks great.
Thank fuck you didn't mention Celine Dion's version...

Heres two covers that have ben mentioned on these forums already int he last two months, but worth repeating for this "Covers" thread. Am NOT saying they are 'better' than the originals - but they sure are pretty damnnn good. And yes. I do know one of them is an IDOL bullshit show vid. But its worth watching unless ya seen it already....
