She is keen to ride with me, providing I don't get up to my usual pootling shennanigans! She will never ride her own bike, but it doesn't matter since she loves to ride on the back with me.

At this stage, she has more riding gear than me now!

My better 1/2 rode pillion for nearly a year and even started falling asleep on the back of the bike at times. Got totally bored with it when we went on a group ride and after following another bike with a fairer sex rider got off and said I want my own bike. Had one 3 weeks later and now fully licensed and riding a great little rocketship of a GB400.

my wifey goes with me sometimes but complains about uncomfortable seat & foot position & the C50 is one of the better ones. I suggest her getting her own but she doesnt want to. Good thing is I get an excuse to spend money on the C50 cause it will make it more comfortable eh. Deflectors are on their way, passenger plates next.

I used to spend 90% of bike-time with my wife on the back, she's a brilliant pillion. Our foray into parenthood has brought that all to a screeching halt. Normal service should be resumed in a couple of years when the little people are old enough to send away to grandparents, etc.

Annes helmet hit mine once while out night riding, I thought she had nodded off so I grabbed a handfull of the front brakage system to awaken her but alas, it twas but a mere sneeze.

Yeah Becca and I both ride, not done too much in the way of having her on the back due to restricted licence, but we did recently hire a bike over in oz and go for a ride, actually really good fun! Helps a heap when your pillion is also a biker and knows to lean with you in the corners!

Bring on the full licence in just over two weeks! Then planning on getting a sport tourer/adv bike to travel round the country on this summer. Any good reccomendations for suitabel bikes let me know.

Koba and I ride together, seldom on the road but often on the race track.

My partner and I both ride - we love going for rides together. Did a tour of the South Island in February/March and it was just fabulous. Then made sure that we headed up to Cape Reinga at Easter so that we could say that we had ridden NZ top to toe in the space of a couple of months.
Our choice of holidays is to go touring and have done pretty much all of the country now.
Don't think I could have partner that didn't ride.

We were me riding alone as to quote"Im not getting on that"after a couple of short sedate trips say 15km,she was hooked,so after spending $$$ on my stuff we did same for her,and have to say she was a good pillion.
Did our first and last trip of 1100km with only anoyance of her seat and lack of comfort there in.

My wife used to ride pillion until I upgraded to a bike without a pillion seat or pegs. So she got herself a little Suzuki Volty, learned to ride, and now just 10 months later has a full licence and a nice ER6F. We use the Bluant F4 Interphones to chat while riding which is really handy. Next step is getting her back out on the track

The man dog and I don't ride together on the road anymore since his bike was sold. And fuck knows how we survived the dodgy trips we used to do with me as pillion before I got my own bike. Now we race buckets together, at this point both in the same grade, so we race each other.... makes passing 'interesting' I'm sure he takes more care in passing me than anyone else on the track probably because he knows that I will smack him if he knocks me off, it does help though that he knows my lines from many hours of following me around the track and there is often an element of 'team tactics' on race day

We too had a rider/pillion relationship for several years and had a blast the whole time - trusting pillion, even when we scraped her toes on the road ocasionally or caught a little air off some of those nice little humps here in the 'kato. We have now moved to the next level , rider/rider. After spending some time with her, while she was losing her training wheels (challenging at times !!) we now tour all over the place together and she is developing great road craft skills all the time. Now on a full license & riding a GSR600 very well !! Doing SH 43 this weekend - weather permitting & a South Island trip early next year - can't wait !!! She does a girls ride every now n then & I get out with the boys at times as well. Its working well for us.
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............

Its been a couple of years since Melissa aka DODGB has ridden when she had a CBX750 Bold'or, but its not Often that we aren't out on the Trumpy together She's a great pillon and also relises riders need that alone time on their bike as well,Melissa has already decided that she is getting a 675 when she upgrades the CBR400 which I am rebuilding for her at the moment......
