However, if you liked the Amy Winehouse record, a lot of that would have been because she was backed by a KILLER band called the Dap Kings. Get the Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings record, its great. Sharon Jones is the real deal. Like a hundred times more talented than Amy W. Just saying.

I'm not saying she's not responsible for her own destiny but if you understand the nature of addiction and also know what the UK media is like, you may have more sympathy for this train wreck of a tragedy. Like it or not her music was liked by many worldwide, so she will definitely be leaving her mark on the world, if not a tarnished one by her private life.
