Good time to have a spell out of NZ methinks. We're driving up to Auckland later today and flying out tomorrow for a couple of weeks - have absolutely no idea where

Ever since our 10th anniversary, my wife and I have taken turns at organising a secret destination to celebrate - it's our 39th this week. We keep it a secret from each other for as long as possible, which is normally the check-in desk if it's an overseas trip! My wife organised it this time and the only clue I've been given is to pack light gear. If this is her idea of a joke and we're going to Invercargill, she's in trouble!
    Cool !!! Enjoy

Heaps of snow and black ice here today,no work. Got told off by a nice copper for having fun on the road on the xl. Where the dozer is parked in the hills behind ettrick The farmer recons the snow is half way up the tracks and on a D6H that is some deep snow.A few more days at home me thinks, woohoo.

No bloody snow here - never is - but cold enough to freeze the tits off an iron witch...

Monster truck and I headed out for essential supplies this afternoon (chocolate, beer, a nice roast for dinner).
Lots of kiddies out throwing snowballs and making snowmen. Some young folk with car, ski rope, snowboards and video camera

Came across a woman walking along the wheel tracks. No problem, driving slow and cautious anyhoo. She keeps walking. I give a little cheery toot to let her know I'm there. No response.
    Good size horn blast.
    Finally a response albeit slow.
Stupid bitch had her ipod plugged in and can't hear a thing. Fucking moron.

Should have let the dogs help her along.

What I think would be real cool to see ... (or HEAR about ... ) would be snow on top of the Sky-Tower ...

The only thing about it that pisses me off about is it doesn't look like there will be enough for two days off

I'll try hard to make sure there will be for me. Well at least enough for a very late start. Need to go and tell someone at work that her position is being made redundant so I probably should try to at least get in to get that nasty job out of the way. The worst job in HR ... making a really good person's position redundant. The slush on the road will match the mood I think.

Soft buggers, I rode the bike from Lyttelton to Woolston at about 0130 this morning and just went and collected it from where the roads just got to risky.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
