An* idiot. If you can mate, try fix your grammar slightly when you type. Some people are pretty anal around here when it comes to how well you type... Tough crowd I know

Anyways, I know sweet fuck all about bikes, especially their electrics. Someone can hopefully help you soon enough.

I doubt if those problems ... are connected ...

Starting issue is most likely battery on the way out ... and not spinning it over fast enough ... check/clean plugs and their gaps too ...

Neutral idiot light is most likely dirty/loose bulb holder/connection ....

    agree with FJrider.

Take your battery out and give it a charge to see if that helps it or not.

aside from lose wires, it could be dirty connections, which is a common issue in motorcycle electrics. Go down to supercheap or whatever and buy a can of contact cleaner. You pull every wire connection apart, spray it, leave it a few minutes then plug it backin, easy.

If its a loose wire, well thats a bit cunty, its very difficult to accurately diagnose an intermittent problem. id give the contact cleaner a go, and while youre doing it, see if you can see any loose or corroded wires. If after that the problem persists, see a doctor. (Doctor = auto sparky)

Nothing wrong wiff the gramma its perfeckly unner stanable.

"Clocked a 1000km on my bike now " means he's just finished a 1000km ride.

" but the idiot lights work when they want too" means the lights come on when there's an idiot in the vicinity.

"the neutral light doesnt work all the time ( yes the gear lever is in the right place .lol )" Means the neutral light is working correctly. If it was on all the time and the bike wasn't in neutral then there would be a problem.

"now it takes abit to start her even with clutch in and the kick stand up ." OK, so there should have been a space in the words "a bit", but the meaning is still clear. The bike needs to be towed by a bridled horse to start.

"Iam i missing some thing ?" So, another small mistake; There should have been a space between the "I" and "am" and the second "i" should have been capitalised. Anyone can make typos like that. He is saying he is himself, even if he's not all there. There are many members of this forum who are also missing something, but we don't hold that against anyone.

"its going in for a service in the next month , but i want to fix this prob myself if i can ." The bike is going to serviced proffessionally, but the writer would like work on his communication issues himself if he can.

"its a suzuki 250 invader if that helps" shows that there is some intellect present as he has chosen a good make of bike, so his previous goal may be achievable.

The BDOTGNZA welcome any indication that a person will work on his communication skills.

Anyway is ? Or anywayss ? Bad grammar = bad, but slang = good ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

If, after you clean the battery terminals you still have problems (You will) I am pretty much in palmy and could have a look at it for you. I'd suspect the neutral switch needs a clean Not a big job at all.
Can you tell us what it is doing when you say "heard to start"?

If it doesn't want to crank when the side stand is up and the clutch lever in (With a new battery) I would suspect the contacts on the clutch sensor are dirty or the side stand switch is dirty/stuck.

If the side stand switch is clogged up/faulty the engine may randomly cut out.

Pics of the bike are always good too (Just for boasting.)
