Mt Wellington this weekend (end of July)

Okay, we've got round 1 of the new season, no snow, no guarantees on rain/sunshine, new A graders, new F5 bikes, probably new B graders, so who the heck's turning up.

C'mon, it's more fun when there's an event looming around the countryside with the shit talk, but when it comes to Auckland's turn, we all go quiet???????????????? Captian_Soup I understand being quiet (how much trouble can a young kid get into without landing in deep doo-doo?, no further comment from me - except we may have a plan for your mobility, dearest). AC3_Snow - trying to keep young Mr CS out of trouble and build a bike - yeah, you got your hands full.

Rick52 - not sure whether Willy The Kid and I will be racing Sunday, depends on both our bikes lol. Pull finger, and there's always the purple bike available

Arron - your bike better be ready and beautiful, or I'm coming to hunt you down.
Pumba - let me know if you're coming both days or not and I'll bake you a cake (with a welcome home on it, except I don't do decorating crap, leave that to the expert).

Hmm, Warwick - not sure if you're on here - tell the darling Sarah we need a cake. I'm envious of how much time she can spend decorating them (sorry, finished baking one tonight with the icing sugar ready to be thrown on top at work tomorrow, if it survives the commute). I'll happily pay her (I like her cakes lol).

Damn, it's been a long time between rides and we've ridden Kaitoke and Roy's Hill in between, so not sure how you guys do it. (yeah, it's beyond me how I can be that pathetic as well, you're not alone in wondering that, I think that's my talent).

Right, that's all I can think of for now. Think up your excuses as to why you're not there on the weekend (don't give me weather, it's not Kaitoke with snow).

Anyone keen on giving it a go on Saturday, yell out to Henk or I, (or JC to book the club bike).

Oh DON'T FORGET $10 FOR PRACTICE ON SATURDAY. New year, new rules. Still (hopefully) lotsa fun.
    Moi

I suppose I will be one of the new A graders ? though B grade Tim has a better ring to it.

Tim, you will always be B-Grade Tim, no matter what grade you're in. A-grade Tim and Fast Tim doesn't have the same ring to it, so you're stuck with it.

Now, if you beat Fast Tim, we might have to think about a name change, but until then, B-grade Tim riding A-grade it is hahaha

That will probably be two barely running new F5 bikes on track then, haven't had time to do anything but put ours together and hope it goes OK on the day. Want me to throw the Ezeup in if rain threatens? Never can be bothered putting it up on the ocasions I have bought it along.

Well it was the plan to be riding this weekend as the bike is back together (well not quite but that is what Sunday morning is for) and I am hanging out for some track time.

Unfortunately the prick that out bid us on the house we wanted to buy on Tuesday didn't give a shit about my plans for the weekend and with just under a month till we are on the street house hunting is the higher priority.

It is the plan to drop in a Sunday but it won't be later till the afternoon.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Generally around 3-4, but depends on turnout, weather and if JC has something else to do (but we'll lock up if he needs us to).

Should still be worthwhile at midday, but around 2.30 wouldn't bother as that's pushing it.

Doubt any motards will be there as the 2 hour's on in Taupo (but I think Toby's keen to turn up for the next one if he can, will remind him before the day if I see him).

Spada - won't recognise you without the back wheel skipping. Henk's told me I have to run you over this time if you fall off in front of me - can't argue with him, he beats me enough anyways. hahaha

Yip, was just reading your motard thread

Oh, that's right, can't remember if I put in my original post it's $10 for practice from this weekend (for buckets) - no matter if you're racing Sunday, AMCC member or what. Non-AMCC members it's $20, but Motards and Mini's I think it's the same as previous.

This isn't anything to do with profit making etc by the club, it's part of life, the costs have gone up and we've had it damned good for a long time. For 2 hours at Hastings the other week, we had to pay $10 as well, so don't bitch about it (nah, not heard anyone complaining), it's just life, and it's still great value (just reading my post to Henk and he commented that the 2 hours at Hastings was well worth the $10 and I have to agree.
