I have been in discussion with Mark about locking the thread. I am reluctant to do so as the information is already public, and if this thread is locked it is likely that another will simply pop up. It's easier to keep this thread open where the moderators can watch it.

I will ask that no information about the rider that isn't already public be posted on here.

does anyone know which safety barrier it was? first thoughts were coming off the long track back onto the main track but I didnt think they run the long track on test days?

The Rider came off the ventilator today, and was weaned off sedation. Currently sitting in a chair and talking well.

His family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and wishes.
