I am in London at the moment, we are about 2km's away from Ealing where some of the worst violence was on Tuesday night. I know the area well and am totally shocked to see and hear what is happening.

When all hell broke loose on Monday, there were rumours flying around that it was some kind of extremist 'Uprising' which had me seriously thinking about sorting flights to get me home earlier. But as the day went on and footage came in, it is clear that these are just fucking useless bastards, kids, Ali G's, gangsta wannabies, nothing more and nothing less.

Yes, the economy is fucked, yes there are social 'issues' but that is no excuse. These bastards are simply taking to the streets to rob, vandalise and steal. I was supposed to be going to England v Holland at Wembley tonight but that game has been cancelled cos of these little toe rags. Big deal I know, there are people who have lost their houses and businesses cos of these arseholes, my heart goes out to all of them.

Anyway, I'm here right in the middle of it and can see whats happening and who is responsible. Sorry, but anyone who excuses this kind of mindless bollockes cos of social environment or any other PC riddled reason is no better then the scumbag rioters that are ruining peoples lives in my brilliant homeland.

A battalion of the Scots Guards from Chelsea Barracks backed up by the TA in full uniform and plant them on the streets.

On the news tonight there was a story about Clapham or Croydon or something that the community banded together and came out and cleaned up the mess. That's great, the community taking ownership. Now just need the parents to take ownership of their kids. The govt. to take ownership of the lax laws and policies that have allowed the shifting of accountability from the individual, especially the youth. They say we in NZ are about 10-15 yrs behind Britain socially. If we don't sort our shit out soon... we're fucked!
