Hmmm starts with ether..... carbs are fine on the other bike.... what are the valves like ? Sounds strange.
Maybe you should stick the good, going motor in the road legal frame I know someone who has another one that doesn't work, would you like me to see if they want to sell it to you ?

Did you get a shot of Shane on his arse ?
He went hurtling past me at one stage and when I came round the next corner he was picking the bike up from a snow drift with a cheeky grin on his face

Valves were all replaced along with complete top end rebuild ( I think that part was done by Vin Orr so it probably is ok) it does sound 'toight' in a good way. The bugger is that the good motor is from a Z model rather than an S, so no battery/charging circuit. I think a new battery might actually help the starting issue...will get one on pay day...am I better off getting something decent or will anything that holds a charge do?

Will let Piglet keep his trophy! If I can find more $ I think I'll invest in a 1 owner < 10 year old bike of > 250cc ~$4000 and keep the DRs

That was on the corner just before the turn off to start going up to the dam caretakers...

Jatz came off at the Pujji Retreat corner on the seal...

Consider yourself beer'd, and as for shed nights that would be choice I could always host a mini one (mini shed you see)...or if other people have got things to be doing I can trailer my bikes and parts anywhere.

WW's 200 can't be too far from being resurrected?!

I could probably use one of those, if you have spare...... when I get time!

NordieBro also picked up an XL250 frame and CB250RS engine.
Who knows what you'll end up with

So how about it WW? would you be willing to host yet another shed night? I'd offer but my place isn't really suitable currently.

Will how about i pop around one night this week with the battery and have a quick look at the dr to see if i can add anything to the problems let me know a night that suits.

More than welcome to give them a try, I can swap 'em pretty quick, not really knowing what you're doing when tuning jets/mixture just adds to the 'adventure'
