Yeah, they were nice - actually looked quite sporty.

I tell ya what there has been a lot of setting the bar extremely low and consistently failing to achieve it in this thread...kinda like my work performance assessments....but finally a sweet lil' unit has been mentioned.

Pure class, but I need a compromise. I would not ever drive a classic XK down to the dairy for bread and milk, so it just wouldn't be for me (even if I did have that kind of cash available.)

We already have an offer on the house. Taking a look at uprated garaging and driveways this evening

The Sprint is a fabulous sleeper! A very sweet car indeed! Not much needing upgrading to be a reliable, fast modern car!

Here's the best one on TM, not a Sprint, but a rare FWD!

Are they just a version of the Toledo??

(cruelly referred to as 'Truimph Toilet' by the rest of us when my mate had one - he use to call it the Triumph Torpedo!!!)

I think it was the other way round, I think Triumph made the 1300 FWD following BMCs lead with the ADO16.

And according to Wiki, in 1970 they re-engineered it into a RWD, making the Toledo
