Beautiful bikes those hornets. My flatmate has one - I ride it all the time, he has twin carbon fibre pipes on it and it sounds absolutely insane (Makes me go fast ). The handling is awesome, love that huge rear tyre. Kaiaua is an amazing ride also, love the twisties

    Hornet vs Bandit

Good looking bike. Looks good in the silver. Anyone owned a 250 Hornet that has also owned a 250 Bandit? I have the Bandit and it goes like a cut cat. Just wanting a comparison if anyone has ridden both.

Really its down to your personal taste, the hornet has about 4 more HP, 2 more kW, 2 more NM max torque but is also weighs 6kg more than the bandit but this is due to the hornet having full size tyres 180 wide rear 130 wide front same size and some cases bigger than 600cc+ bikes where the bandit has the usual small 250 size tyres and the hornet having a bigger full tank making for more km per tank which is important because these bikes are thirsty! I personally think the hornets look better cleaner curves better shape tank and cool wide rear fairings with a pointy tail, all these are factors that helped my decision tho i have to honestly say i have never riden a bandit.

Both cool bikes and its a shame to see these old inline 4 250's out of production... a real shame.

Nice bike man! I like the blue! Hey ive heard autosol is great on metals to make them shine (never used it myself so if it ruins it dont blame me lol) just keep washing it and waxing it the shine will soon come ask some professional advice on shining the machinery i reckon! Also i notice on the pics that your rear axel adjustment is on its limit that usualy means either you got a nakerd sprocket or a nakerd chain or both you should get that look at man

I wear a HJC about 6 years old lol i originally bought it for drag racing at meremere in my subaru legacy rs back when i was young dumb and full of cum, but yeah that cost me 200 at the time, my bday coming up and im asking friends and family to chip in for a new helmet and im looking at getting one of these!

They get 5/5 on sharp helmet safety review which most 500 - 600 dollar helmet dont even get so to that!
