It was really sobering but surreal. As the movie progressed I sank lower & lower into the seat as my head got around what they are doing. And how do you tip a bike into a corner when both wheels are off the ground?
I think it has probably made me ride even slower...

Adrenalin is the best drug in the world. It is very hard to NOT go get some more of it once you have had it, the TT brings it on in ship loads

    That is hugely apparent.
The interviews give us the viewers an amazing insight into what drives the people who compete, spanner & marshal. Intense.

Not having a dig or criticizing or anything like that, but I've always thought that people who see something like this movie, or witness a fatal on the road or whatever and it affects the way they ride afterwards didn't fully realize the possible consequences of riding a bike.

It just made me realise were I'm at in the scheme of things I've changed in the last 30 years but the scenery has not. No doubt on my next ride, the movie will be the last thing on my mind.

Perhaps, or perhaps only thought they fully realized. Experience adds to your perspective, the more you get the more it shapes your opinion. This probably applies to you too.

Seems everyone was enjoying the movie so much I'm the only person who noticed the below average photography. Maybe I went in with too high expectations of mind blowing, state of the art, adenalin rush bikecam footage. Only to see the same old film techniques they used in 'On any Sunday' made in the early 1970s. Golden opportunity lost springs to mind.

The opening 20 seconds was an embarrassment for any film Director. Front facing bikecam that was piss poorly aimed at the tar seal a metre or two in front of the front wheel. You got a split second clance of the track ahead at each gear change when the front lifted, then back to watching tar seal.

Yes I enjoyed the movie but it could, SHOULD, have been biking nirvana in terms of exciting race filming. At times it looked like they borrowed short clips off spectators cell phones, what a cop out.

well i for 1 enjoyed it, yes a bumpy camera start, literally but enjoyed the parts of slow motion shots especially the one with i think Guy getting airborne over a hump = pure awesome.
since i had little to no knowledge of this race it really took me in quiet early and became really involved with the riders especially the main fella Guy, emotional roller coaster, had me hanging on the edge. i actually felt nervous throughout each race and when i went to Hampton Downs race track the next day i re-experienced those similar nerves before each run (first time track day)
liked the flow of the film, good pace,
    nice work

I liked it (watched it last night). It gives a degree of insight into what the TT is all about and more importantly what it means to those that take part.

The TT is a very special place, I've been many times and plan to go again in 2014 as a spectator, that will be double figure attendance for me to a magical place with many memories. Such as sitting in a field with Joey Dunlop helping him fix a gearbox, well I think I was helping.

Bridget and the girls were good to see (seeing them again this weekend actually) and a nice tribute to Paul.

American dude has it right, put it on your bucket list if you haven't been (to the Island), you wont regret it.

To those that are bagging it........go do a better job yourself..........I'll be happy to critic your work.......... and just quietly, I think your missing the point of the film!
