    Nah got a 40, need a 42

    And 200 would be nice but it wont happen, especially on a huge 42

    lol, sorry 42 is huge for someone wanting 200kph. not huge as a general statement

    its for beach racing, and with the class i will be running in a 42 should be about right on the back with as big as i can go on the front as well.

    nationals are in 2 and a half weeks in gisborne.

    you old enough to remember max barrington on his tt500 at the gissy beach races?

    years and years ago but that was some awesome racing.

    my old man won the NZ open title there in around 1986 or 7, on a GS1000, with 18" yokohama's mounted front and rear, i still remember the sound of that thing and the rooster tails,

    If you have no luck finding a cheap sprocket, and maybe if you have a mate in the engineering business, another option is you could try your local bike shop and get them to order a aluminium blank sprocket from Eurobike. These come in all sizes, including a 42 tooth, and you would just have to get the internals milled out to fit your wheel hub

    Some guy in Gissy made his own frame for a GSXR (1000 I think??) and that sounded pretty mental and had wicked roost flying out the back!

    Sam you still got the video of that?
