Are you serious? That makes me want to puke and it's nothing like riding a bike. It's like sitting sideways on a swing.......

If you want whiz bang effects go and watch avatar 3D.

They needed to use Shaun's Britten footage for that.
Brilliant for suspension movement and dynamics.

Cool movie. It is made to attract as wide an audience as possible. If it included an on board lap , Joe Average would be bored within 5 minutes.
Opening shots did not worry me, probably creates more drama because you cant really see what is coming.
Mrs liked it ,I should not have taken her as she now has reservations about me starting racing.

    What was I thinking.

I think the problem is that we are educated and expect more.

    More! More!

For a documentary done in a similar style, may I point you to "A life with bells on".

Interesting the vitriol on the opening shot.
Reminded me of the camera-work in C'était un rendez-vous. Some people even consider that a "classic".

Personally I enjoyed the movie and consider it a keeper. There are plenty of onboard and panoramic shots to keep the movie real, and as mentioned earlier if you need to fill your boots with moar - grab a Duke TT title or 3.
