Well I say much obliged partner, this here horse of mine might get new life after all. Just hope that come Sunday she don’t go drop dead on me like my Pa did after he heard that he might get married a 3rd time……![]()
Max Lyver's FXR back on the market. Don't think it has been run since he sold it

In hindsight, I think he may have turned up last month.
Didn't twig that it was Max's old bike or I would have gone over and said hello.
Nothing wrong with it.
Pretty stock FXR with all the bodywork and crash bungs fitted. Only thing I'd look at doing in the longer term would be wider rims, Max looked after it pretty well.

My neighbours diary says I have boundary issues
Phaarrk, he suddenly puts a buy now on it while I wasn't looking, and minutes later some other bugga buys it!! Bugga, was looking forward to bidding for it! Trade Me's an auction site, dammit, isn't it? (rant over, sorry). Sorry, but have been waiting with it on my watch list for over a week, and counting down the days to sale day, just a bit disapointing to not have a chance to go for it.
Never mind, I am sure something else (maybe better) will come up soon.
Good point, but there was a bid, which was why I hadn't bothered starting my bids. Wonder if it was withdrawn or removed? Not many auctions will attract many bids a week out, particularly with an unknown reserve, that is just the way it works. It is the last hour where it is all at. There is a 'for sale' listing for those that don't want to go through the auction process.
