I'll probably be trying to get there quite quickly, so probably leaving auckland before 8, and not taking too many detours from a straight line (possibly thinking down to clevedon, through hunua then either SH2 or SH27 (suggestions here would be appreciated) to rotorua to hopefully arrive before lunch.
Get plugs cast
eat lunch while waiting for them to cure
head back possibly via coro loop to arrive back in aucks before 9 (going clockwise)
I think it'll be the last breath of my rear tyre so I'll be in at treads maybe on sunday to get a brand new PR3 fitted
Trying to get time off (for good behaviour!) to come along... might not be able to do the early run to Rotorua but may be able to meet up later for the Loop.
Hehehe, well my girl works on Saturday, but gets off around 4.30 ... so it looks like a scoot down, and turn around and scoot back! Sounds just like the old days (when I was single and fun and fancy free ... )
It's sad ... but this is probably the longest ride I will have done in a whiles!![]()

Riding or eating? hmmm... so hard...
