Good price, low Ks, not bad condition.

But IMO - not as good as the Wolsley/Riley options.

I agree. Personally I'm not a big Triumph fan, but saying that I have considered a TR7 and 2000/2500 as an option.

If you get a TR7 and do a proper TR8 conversion, you'll have a pretty reasonably good car (apart from the switch gear).

The convertables are far better looking, though they do leak, and have a reinforced chassis (to stop them bending) which makes for a more solid ride.

Knowing what I now know and having the huge benefit of hindsight, I might foolishly consider another as a project
