    1992 vfr400 nc30

Moving jobs to be working in the CBD and sadly the VFR is not so comfortable when used on a daily basis

    -Braided lines front and back
-OEM HRC CDI and derestrictor (worth 2-300$ by themselves I'm told)
-New tyres around 30000kms, gpra10's front and rear (prev owner)
-~31000kms valve clearances done (prev owner)
-just after 31000kms I replaced the fuel tap innards, replaced the rear master cylinder and brake pads (front have plenty left on them). Around the same time I did an oil and filter change and coolant flush.
front wheel bearings replaced 33000kms, new horn also (old was getting a little sick). Comes with the original front screen and a dark tint aftermarket one.

Also have a few random spare bits with it
-I've replaced the carbs and airbox back to stock as prev owner had attempted to do the HRC modifications to these. Since putting the new carbs etc in it has been rejetted (due to the modified exhaust) but carbs not balanced. I've been quoted about 180$ max to do this, but wanted to replace one of the exhaust flange copper gaskets first (never got around to it, part costs $2)
-Also have bits and pieces - ie haynes manual, ABBA superbike stand for it, various spare parts that are negotiable in price

Beautiful bike to ride, great in the turns, just not the most comfortable for the daily commute into town!:-( will be sad to see it go (not in a major hurry though ha!)
Would possibly consider a swap +/- money each way for something like a cb400, gs500, sv400, bandit 600, er5, honda bros, possibly even a katana or a gsr600. Ideally looking for a bike that has a front screen or fairing and would love it if it had a pack rack.

Thanks, I feel like I'm going to regret selling it, it has been my dream to own one of these bikes (well, short of a moto guzzi or single sided ducati...but I don't have a spare 15k lying around ;-)). But I just can't hack it when looking at 1.5+ on it every day of the week

    Great bikes ae,
I had a real hoot on mine,
and Icemaestro has put his at a really good price for a really tidy and well looked after bike,
To offer him less would almost be an insult! my insurance company valued mine at a market value of $4000.
Hope you get full price for it man,
and for anyone considering one of these but is unsure,
Just do it! you wont regret it, they can be hard on your wrists, but its worth every moment in the saddle of an angry V4

Not my wrists that get killed, my neck from craning up :-P that and my work a bit probably...

Can't raise the clip ons on the vfr up I think - the bars naturally tend to just touch the speedo from stock, let alone if you put modified clip ons on them

You would have to get actual bars and have them come over the tank a little more, then I think it would still catch on the fairing, I found I got a tired neck I lived down a twisty road though, Shit I miss it haha

    Would you swap a 1992 CBR600?
First of the 100 Hp models, and really easy on gas on the commute...

Possibly, the position on it all right? What kind of km's does it get to how many l? And what km's/condition is yours in? From memory the early 90s
Ones go for around 2.5-3k yeah? Does it have a pack rack?

Pretty sure its similar mileage to the VFR and they are a tourer sports so the position would be sweet for commuting
