Nothing "wrong" per se... if a battery is rated for your bike it will work fine. The advantage with Shorai is power, battery life, weight, (extremely light, you'll notice the weight difference, even on a road bike), holding their charge and durability under load. If you add up the cost of two or three, (or four), other batteries, against the Shorai, they are far better value for money if you're planning on keeping the bike, or even if you do sell it, you can switch the Shorai to your new bike.
