Spotted on the Paekakariki Hill Rd.

I think I have achieved the complete set of wandering livestock now.

The one on the side of the Hill road was waaaay bigger than this motley specimen though. Mine was at least the size of a double garage and with horns that would have graced the fornt end of any forklift... and although it was contentedly grazing on the shoulder of the road you could tell it had a barely hidden mean streak just waiting to explode.

    Nice one!

I spotted a hog on the same road the other day!

It even tried to follow me but I had to try really hard to keep him in shot!

Nahhh, those Highland cows are really docile, well some are. My sister has a couple and the follow you around like dogs. Puts the shits up you the first time but they seem to like company and a good scratch behind the ears. They make very good eating too, unfortunately her two are more pets that stock although I am sure if they get in to the garden again that position might change

I think I saw the tractor on it's side of the road...once.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I follow a hog most mornings in the lane split...has a custom plate GEORD
Seems a nice beasty doesnt hold anyone else up and moves over for louder animals with a friendly nod
    Just ride.

It's a real head scratcher isn't it... WTF does he think will happen if he meets his mirror image coming the other way?

Still... it's only "close" if you don't have time to raise your middle finger

There were some mighty large flattened heeland coow droppings in the middle of the road tonight so the wee beastie probably tried to execute a three point turn at some stage... I'm grateful I missed that spectacle.

I *555'd him too. Then worried that if they didn't find him they be knocking on my door to check for hallucinogens.
