Shhhh, i could of got it removed for free.
Nah seriously they are fucken bad. Good luck finding a engine.
GT125's have potential, but i know you well enough that you have a fuck load of projects like me, so you'll probably never get around to tuning it, so try getting a gl145 or fxr/loncin.
Damm good chassis the 3LN, can fit nearly anything into it and the wheels are good as is for 125 slicks too, handle bars and foot pegs are in the right place also.

Speedpro, Chambers and I use them here at Mt Welly, do you have an engine preference?
I use one of these 08-09 GSXR600 rear shocks with the original FXR spring. $27 USD http://www.ebay.com/itm/08-09-Suzuki...item35b5e59d12
I got mine near new of Ebay for not much $$$, as well as being all adjustable they jack the back up a bit for more weight on the front, other year GSXR600 shocks are a bit longer and lift the back of the FXR to much.
I came into the shop to talk you into getting a bucket just yesterday but you were no where to be found!
Im busy looking for one as well mate, I have a couple of races (and got waxed) on the weekend. Bucket convert I am!
Ahh he's too lazy to work on mondays.
Good to see some progress Jimmy.
Just pay mind of gearboxs. 4 speeders are unusable.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Right, after some advice.
I'm thinking I'll go the boring, but reliable, diesel route for a powerplant. After riding Fishies bike and seeing how quick he can get along with it, and knowing my own mechanical spasticity regarding tuning, it's the safest bet.
So, ideally I want an FXR150 motor. But they're fucken hens teeth (unless someone has one they'll sell of course?). I've trawled through Tardme loonking for a Loncin, vertical motor like Fish's one, but no luck there either.
So now I'm thinking maybe a GL145? Much as I hate to look for Honda power, it seems a reliable little bugger that has almost acceptable performance.
Anyone know of any issues or pitfalls regarding these?
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
other than being a gay honda.........nope, bullet proof, readily avaliable parts good choice. this is cheap http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-414738212.htm sell off all the bits and you will have a $500-600 engine
Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.
Bren probably has an FXR engine. Long-chins are avail new for not too much.
