Absolutely, I am with you here. Plenty of the high and mighty in here who have *never* made a mistake. Only time I have crashed in the last 4 years was a highside...leaving my driveway. How's that for stupid? Most of us have the occasional "oh shit" moment due to a lapse in concentration, unforeseen circumstances such as goats, sheep, cows running across the road or whatever, it is just that experience sharpens the skillset and we're able to (often...touch wood) carry out evasive, corrective action. But we can't expect all new riders to do this.
I remember one learner ride we took a few years back, we had 3 or 4 new 250cc riders crash one after the other on the same corner, right after each other because each target fixated on the rider in front of them crashing. People make mistakes, don't bash them about it unless they refuse to learn from it. This dude seems keen to learn from his mistake and the only one hurt was him and his machine.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
Most new(ish) riders have the same issues. It is instinct to grab a handful of brakes when you freak out. My first crash on my 250cc was the same. Cocked up a line through a very twisty set of roads, freaked out, grabbed brakes, rode into ditch at about 50kph.
It takes experience to get to the point where you can fight that urge and instead commit the bike to the corner. Most racers on here will tell you that the tyres on your bike can hold on a lot longer than you think they can.

I'm not telling you to do anything. You've posted videos on a motorcycling website of your own squid-like riding and I'm giving you what I honestly believe is constructive feedback. You have fallen well short of delivering a video for my viewing pleasure - they are in fact quite disturbing.
Edit; I am not perfect by any means and have crashed (many moons ago) before.
I cant believe I used some of my bandwidth for that shit.
I like how this thread got better and better..
Out of the woodwork comes katman haha
LOL, that awkward moment when you destroy the toilet at your local..
LOL Ever heard of taking a corning? All I seen was straight line riding, straight line riding, straight line riding, mediocre corner, BOOM STRAIGHT LINE hahaha
Ahaha ^^
I am with Hayden on this one, I havnt personally seen his crashes, but I have seen photos and heard stories, I have also seen the tank of his second mentioned crash where his balls of steel dented the tank...
Gear saves lives, So what did you do in the end? damage the wanking hand?
I think I met you guys on a Thursday night ride last summer, you were with another guy on a 250 (I was one of the Aprilia riders). Just want to say hope you heal up, and if you do keep riding there's a couple of guys on that thursday night ride that do rider training (one road, one track from memory). Get as much training as you can, not only will you be safer out there, you'll actually get more enjoyment out of it.
And the guys being "harsh" really are bang on the money - that was some pretty terrible riding (sorry).
Ciao Marco
