Must have been the day for it. I got breathalised at about 7.45am this morning. By the time I got my helmet off there was a line of cars at least 10 behind me.....

The lovely police person said I had a nice bike and off I went. It wasnt until I was down the road I realised my rego was showing expired yesterday - I had paid it online Friday and no new sticker but she let me go.

Don't think they care bout much else when running the booze bus, I had one couple months back WOF was out by 4 months got the comment "might want to get that sorted" but wasn't that interested, didn't seem to care about the blown headlight either.

    Spose that's possible.

Was a full time biker until age 49, then decided to give up bikes, sold my 2 Beamers, gave away my riding gear. Sitting car licence was hard case, was older than the tester. Car is good but doh! went and bought another bike.

Still in 35 yrs riding, only had a couple of slide down the road in slow motion episodes, so can't be too bad.
Oh hang on, had a good prang at Pukekohe Track late 70's on the RD350, multiple bikes involved, made eyes water, but racing don't count.

If it weren't for a random stop and check, how would the Popo know?
Why do you need to know?? If they are driving safely, why do you feel so obliged to harass everybody else in order to weed them out?

I'd much rather you ticket the people driving like twats, regardless of vehicle or licence type. It's not like that'd actually be hard work, after all. And if the incorrectly licensed people are as over-represented in the stats as you folks claim, then you'll simultaneously catch more of them, too, eh? Win-win in my book.

Play nice please as we all basically just want to enjoy a passion.

After being pullled over more than once in a week for a free cookie I won't be polite. I only hope it's wet so I can ruin some back seat.

Well, some weeks I go thru a good number of breath testing setups without even being breath tested, just a polite wave thru. Must be the vehicle I drive when at work?

In the past ten years I've not been pulled over on a bike once, yeah I ride too slow.

Mind you, get plenty of attention by the CVIU on them weighbridge thingees....

Yeah, kinda pointless - it's not like the officer owns the car is it?
In fact, you'd just be fucking yourself over seeing as the taxpayer foots the bill....

Its more the inconvenience factor as they have to the car back to get it cleaned. If they pull over the main culprits (the car drivers) they won't end with a wet seat needing cleaning. Petty and pointless to some, fair cop for waisting my time I say.

    'Get it cleaned'???Mwahaha.

    How will we know???

    Most likely scenario:

"Jump in the back while we take you back to the station for a breath test"
"Aw fuck, this seats all wet"
"Ah, is it sir? Some dirty bastard must have wet themselves while sitting there, we know who it is and will be speaking to them"

    LEAST likely scenario??
"Haha pigs, I've wet/pissed in the car while you had me there!"

    "Inconvenience"?Mwahaha again

So maybe the cops have a while at base having more coffee and donuts while getting the seat sorted. (nick one out the back of an unused car for the night)

More likely they grab another car and head off out again....

You're not realy good at this trolling stuff, are you?
