Sold for $3300 That is a fucking bargain!!!
Get rid of the heavy wheels, fairings and other unecessary shit (like the ugly home made dash) and it will be a weapon.

The current owner doesn't need to get rid of any of that shit for it to be a weapon

That would be very interesting. Too bad I already have too many projects.

    A couple of these:

Takes you to 151cc. A port job and plane the barrels. Would sound pretty damn cool.

Yes, I looked at it a year ago and decided I couldn't be arsed, 15hp would be overly optimistic manufacturers figures

Bit old but what I would really like is an FZR150

I think you may find that's not sold for $3300, as in bid, but reserve not met.

The ko-rider forum has guys in the UK dyno'ing in at 9hp at the wheel stock, 11hp with an exhaust and jetting sorted. I'd almost do it just for something different. Though thats a fair bit of money to spend to get 'back' to HP figures that you can start with by buying an FXR donk. I wonder how much benefit you'd get from the 'power' delivery of a v-twin over single cylinder motors in a 150cc class.

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

GN125, 7rwhp stock and 13.5 with not much work, I doubt there would be any benefit as most of time you're full throttle

An FXR might not start off with as much HP as you think

    FZR150

Never actually thought id end up building it but its finally ready to race!! Bring it on Trashy im ready!

Gave up on the 2 stroke ideas and ended up with an FXR engine.

    CBR250 Mc19 Chassis
FXR150 Engine, standard engine and carb seem fine (now) until I race someone with a fast one!
    Pirelli Slicks
    RS125 Tail piece

    Lets go racing!
